The present study reports on the direct synthesis of nano-sized NH 4 -ZSM-5 zeolites using colloidal particles of silicalite-1 as seeds. The influence of SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 ratio, the seeding suspension amount and the amount of ammonia was investigated. The as-prepared NH 4 -ZSM-5 could be facially converted to the H-form ZSM-5 by calcination.
